He was  snapped up to star in acclaimed BBC Three culture clash comedy Cuckoo. 
And Twilight star Taylor Lautner seems set to boost the show's rating as he filmed action-packed scenes, performing his own stunts.

The 21-year-old showed off his acrobatic skills as he jumped across buildings, and was seen flying in the air as he threw himself from one building to another.

The star's casual attire of a yellow beanie hat, grey T-shirt and jeans was reminiscent of his Twilight character Jacob Black.

Taylor, who is dating Canadian actress Maria Avgeropoulos, 27, will play the unwanted son-in-law in the series starring Greg Davies and Helen Baxendale as a couple whose young daughter returns from her gap year with an American husband.

The actor replaces Andy Samburg, who recently won a Golden Globe for his role in US comedy Brooklyn Nine-Nine and dropped out of the series.
It is the first TV role for the American star since he found fame in the popular Twilight franchise.

The second season is set two years after the title character Cuckoo - played by Andy Samberg - disappeared while researching a book in the Himalayas, leaving his wife Rachel, played by Tamla Kari, to forge a new life.
